College & Young Adult Ministry of Vista Grande Baptist Church
Who We Are
Vista Grande’s College & Young Adult Ministry is designed to reach people in their twenties and late teens with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. The ministry is made up of wide range of young adults including college students, young professionals, and military personnel.
Weekly Programming
The Vine
The Vine is designed to be an entry point into our church for young adults who are unfamiliar with church or the gospel, and it also serves as a regular gathering place for those who are already involved in the ministry. It includes contemporary worship, Bible teaching, and fellowship. The Vine meets in the church’s youth wing on Thursdays at 7:00 pm.
Sunday School
The College & Young Adult Sunday School class is a great place to go deeper into the Christian faith. Our teachers, Patrick & Sherry Reitmayer, teach through books of the Bible, lead engaging discussions, and apply the truths of Scripture to daily life. Sunday School meets in room 180 at 9:30 am on Sundays.
Other Events and Activities
Service Projects
We make a point of doing at least one service project for our community each month. Our goal is to share the good news of Jesus Christ as we meet physical needs. Our current monthly project is serving food to the homeless at Acacia Park.
Social Activities
We also have special social activities at least once a month. Some past events include movie nights, game nights, Rockies games, etc. Upcoming activities are regularly posted on our events calendar on the church website.

Trips and Retreats
Each year we do at least one off-site retreat for spiritual renewal and community building. We go on other trips as well, such as the annual Mystery Road Trip.
