During the course of the 2009-2010 choir year we will continue to develop and implement a strong music education aspect to the program. strong_towerStrong Tower ~ Knowing My King

The 2009/2010 theme for the LifeWay Children’s Music Series curriculum is Strong Tower ~ Knowing My King. Through this renaissance-inspired theme, your child will become better acquainted with the King of Kings. Music, Scripture and missions will weave together to make our worship of God an intimate relationship between the King and His children. Hymns of the faith, popular worship songs and brand new anthems will teach timeless truths about who God is through His many names. As little voices echo through the halls of your home, we trust that you, too, will come to a more intimate relationship with our King.

GPS – God’s Plan of Salvation

Our spring musical this year, GPS, was chosen for its strong emphasis on salvation and the Christian journey. Join Andrew and his friends as he takes his driver’s license test on the Holy Highway! Andrew learns a few lessons the hard way, but he perseveres under trial and learns that with Jesus Christ in his life, the road of obedience leads to the throne of God. The catchy music and humorous drama will have you and your children humming along and laughing your way down the road.

Song themes include

Salvation God's Plan of Salvation
The Christian journey
Following God’s law
Idolatry
The power of the Holy Spirit
Choosing the right friends
Self-worth through God’s eyes

Make plans now to invite your child’s family and friends to GPS – God’s Plan of Salvation on Sunday, March 14, 2010 at 6:00 pm!
