A copy of the Church Operations Manual is now available in the office. It was written to give members insight into the purpose and operation of various committees, ministries and councils. It also provides insight on how VGBC operates its facilities and handles personnel issues, from calling a spiritual leader to arranging for a Sunday morning security guard.
If you have been asked to serve in a particular position, now you can read about the purpose of that organization and the requirements of the job. As a result, you can better understand what you would be doing and be able to make an informed decision.
Our thanks to the committee members who have devoted many hours to gathering and organizing this material, and will continue the process in the future.
