Welcome To theCROSSING!

We are so excited to have your preteen with us this year. As a preteen, your child is not a “little kid” and yet may not be old enough to grasp adult worship teaching. That’s where theCROSSING comes in. 

theCROSSING is a worship experience geared for preteens. It teaches them to worship and grapple with life’s questions while turning to the Bible for all the answers. At 10:15 a.m., it’s Crossing Community time with games, snacks and fun! Then at 10:45 a.m., we transition to worship and Bible study. 

Each month, we’ll focus on one life question and key faith foundation. We’ll also work throughout the year on service projects.

The goals of theCROSSING are to:
1)  Help preteens develop and deepen their personal relationship with Jesus Christ. 
2)  Learn to search for truth in the Scriptures.
3)  Learn to serve.
4)  Learn their spiritual gifts and how to use them in life.
5)  Offer a learning environment using all learning styles and interactivity.
