Vista Grande is sending 11 people to Karlovac, Croatia June 13-28 to teach ESL at the local Baptist church and to engage in friendship evangelism in the many cafes nearby.  Please pray for the team as the minister to the people in Karlovac.  Check back later in the summer for an update and pictures of this exciting mission.

Trip HIghlights from August 17 - Sept. 1, 2007
Greetings from the Baptist Church in Karlovac, Croatia! Tally, Mark and I had a wonderful time teaching ESL. We met many new people, and Tally and I were able to reconnect with people we had met before. We thank you for your prayers while we were gone.

Tally taught the Beginner Class, Mark taught Intermediate, and I taught Advanced. We pray the friendships we made with the students in our classes will be used by God to reach these lives for Jesus. We hope we were able to show the love of Christ and ease any fears about what Baptists believe. 

We were able to talk to Pastor Ladislav and his wife, Melanija, about future ministry opportunities. Hopefully in the next year or two other groups from VGBC will be going to Croatia focusing on other ways to reach out to these lovely but spiritually lost people.
