Dear Church Family:
Silent Voices Mime Group will present their home concert on Thursday, July 1 at 7:00 pm.
If you are in town on Sunday, July 4, come and enjoy the special music planned in honor of Independence Day. We will celebrate the freedom we know as Americans and the ultimate freedom we have in Christ. The church office will be closed on Monday, July 5.
The Men's Ministry will hold their monthly breakfast on Saturday, July 10 beginning at 7:00 am, followed by the Deacon Meeting at 8:45 am.
On Sunday, July 11 the Properties Committee will meet at 3:00 pm and the Stewardship Committee at 4:00 pm.
Please pray for our high school youth and interns as they provide staffing at Student Life Camps in Durango (July 11 - 16), UNT in Denton, TX (July 22 - 31) and TWU in Denton (7/29 - 8/6).
VGBC and Hoops of Hope Basketball Ministries will be offering a Summer Basketball Camp for children in kindergarten through 6th grade. The camp, led by Brent Fuqua, will be held July 12 - 16 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm. Cost is $65 and space is limited, so please register early. The Missions Committee will be meeting on Monday, July 12 at 6:00 pm.
The Church Operations Manual Committee will meet at 3:30 pm on Sunday, July 18.
The College and Young Adult Ministry will embark on their annual Mystery Trip on July 23 - 25.
