Thank you for your faithful support of Operation Christmas Child!  12/08  We processed 24,891 boxes, surpassing the 2007 total by 3,002!  The state of Colorado was up 6% from 2007, with a total of 104,769 shoeboxes. Click here to enjoy more pictures.

Each year, Vista Grande has the opportunity to share the joy and hope of Jesus Christ with a child in a troubled country through Operation Christmas Child. Each box contains small toys and gifts. VGBC collects shoeboxes through November, and also serves as the collection center for the Colorado Springs area. Angel Tree
A Ministry of Prison Fellowship

1/09  Thank you to everyone who participated in Angel Tree at Christmas by calling families, buying gifts, or delivering presents. Our church was able to serve 66 children in 36 families. The gospel was shared in at least 12 of the homes. Two children, one caregiver, and two friends who “just happened” to be there prayed to accept Christ! One prisoner even contacted us to thank us for what we did for his son. Thank you for serving Christ by ministering to the least of these.
