Singles Ministry of Vista Grande Baptist Church
Who We Are
Vista Grande’s Singles Ministry is designed to reach single adults with the gospel of Jesus Christ and to help them grow in their faith. Our ministry is made up of singles of all backgrounds, including those who have never been married, single parents, widows and widowers, and those who have been through a divorce.
Regular Programming
The Revolution
The Revolution is designed to be an entry point for singles who are unfamiliar with church or the gospel, and also to be a regular gathering place for Christian singles in our church and community. This ministry is done jointly with several other singles ministries in our area. The Revolution meets on the third Friday of each month at 7:00 pm.
Sunday School
Sunday School is a great place to go deeper into the Christian faith. Our teachers teach through books of the Bible, lead engaging discussions, and apply the truths of Scripture to daily life. Our current classes are a general singles class at 9:00 am and a ladies class at 10:45 am.
Support Seminars
DivorceCare
Those who are suffering from the pain of divorce or separation are encouraged to attend DivorceCare, which will help you heal and cope with these issues in a biblical way. Visit the Discipleship Training page to see if a group is currently in session.
GriefShare
If you have lost a spouse or other loved one to death, you know that there is no other grief that is comparable. GriefShare will point you to the truths of Scripture and help you mourn in a constructive way. Visit the Discipleship Training page to see if a group is currently in session.
Other Events and Activities
Service Projects
We make a point of doing at least one service project for our community each month. Our goal is to share the good news of Jesus Christ as we meet physical needs. Our current monthly project is serving at the Springs Rescue Mission.
Social Activities
We also have special social activities at least once a month. Events include game nights, hiking, theme parties, etc. Upcoming activities will be posted soon on our events calendar on the church website.
