Announcements

11:00a.m. Worship Overflow Rotation – THIS WEEK (3/16): We expect it to be crowded. If you can go in overflow (especially at 11:00am, that would be helpful.

• Easter Sunday, March 23^rd – We will have 4 morning services, and Sunday School as usual. There are no evening activities that night. REMEMBER THAT WE WILL HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE AT CHURCH FOR THEIR “ANNUAL VISIT”.  LET’S SEE IF WE CAN GIVE THEM A REASON TO COME BACK MORE OFTEN!
• No Wednesday Night Activities: March 26 – All activities are cancelled this Wednesday evening due to Spring Break.
• Sunday School Promotion: August 17, 2008 – This is the day when children, youth and preschoolers will promote to their new class grades. It is also the day we begin the new Sunday School year.

• Accountability/Discipleship Groups Update – If you would, please let me know if there are groups ready to start (or that have already started) from your class. This serves two purposes: It lets me know how many people we have participating in these groups, and it serves as a point of contact when people are looking for a group to join.
• Ministry Opportunity– Thanks for your support of this ministry so far. Please continue to help. Our church currently supports a food pantry at Southeast Baptist Church located at Murray and Airport Rd. Please consider making this a class ministry project through the rest of the month. You can bring non-perishable food to the boxes located in the main foyers on each floor. Monetary donations can be given as well. Please write: Southeast Baptist Church Food Pantry on the envelope.
• Pictures & Profiles – Thanks to those classes who took time out to take pictures this week.  Below is the status of the pictures and profiles on our web page. If you have none, please write a profile and submit it to me. Ron Steadman’s class (OA10) is an excellent example to follow. If your profile is old, please check to see if it is in need of changes. Please submit those to me in the next 2-3 weeks.  Also, if we did not get your picture taken last week, let me know when you would like to have it done. I will not be taking pictures on Easter, but the following 3 Sundays are open. Let me know which Sunday and what time you would like them taken.

• Each week we will be praying for classes in each age group. Be sure and remind you class that they can join in this effort by picking up a Sunday School Prayer guide in the main foyer.
• NEXT WEEK: March 23-29: Spring Break – Pray for all of our substitute teachers that fill in throughout the year.
