Annie Armstrong Easter Offering

The AAEO funds Southern Baptist missionaries of the North American Mission Board. 100% of your gifts go toward keeping our men and women on the mission field as they plant churches and share Christ in cities all over the continent. New Women’s Bible Study

A new Women’s Bible study, “The Faithful,” began March 30, at 9:00 am . This 5-week study (at church or online) explores the heroes of the Old Testament. For more info on the study contact the church office.  Book cost is $15.

 

Baby Dedication

We invite parents who would like to publicly dedicate themselves to raising their child in the Lord to participate in a Baby Dedication on Sunday, May 9.  If you are interested, please notify the church office by May 5 at noon.

 

Holbrook Sunday School Class

The Holbrook Sunday School class meets each Thursday at 10:00 am   in room 204 or via Zoom. To obtain the Zoom link, contact the church office.  We are also meeting Sundays at the church at 11:30 am   in room 204.

 

Music Ministry Admin Assistant Job

We have a job opening for a Music Ministry Administrative Assistant. This part-time position involves working directly with the Music Minister by supporting the Music & Worship ministries of the church. In addition, job responsibilities include receptionist duties in the main office. If interested, please visit vgbc.org/application for a full job description & application or pick them up at the church office. Completed applications can be emailed to Jay Hill or returned to the church office. Applications will be accepted through April 11.

 

Annual Collection Drive

Local area ministries need our help to supply basic necessities. During the month of April we are collecting toilet paper for the annual Toilet Paper Drive. A collection basket is available in the foyer.

 

Pianist Needed

One of our Sunday afternoon student choirs needs a rehearsal pianist. If you have the skills and are looking for a ministry opportunity, we’ve got a place for you to serve. Contact Jay Hill at the church office or via email at info@vgbc.org.
