Special Business Meeting Today A special business meeting will be held today at 12:15 pm following the second worship service. The agenda is to decide how to proceed with an issue related to replacing the roof. Anyone can attend this meeting, but only church members are eligible to vote. We appreciate your attendance, so we can make a wise decision for the church.
 
Handbell Festival Join us for the 36th Annual Southern Colorado Handbell Festival, Saturday, February 16, at the City Auditorium (221 East Kiowa Ave). The Theatre Organ Pre-Concert begins at 7:00 pm and the Handbell & Brass Concert is at 7:30 pm. Admission is free; a freewill offering will be collected.
 
 
Mexico Mission Trip Meeting Looking to serve God through a short-term mission trip? We will partner with Casas por Cristo in March to build homes for deserving families, in Juarez, Mexico. If you are middle school age to senior adult, please join us for a meeting regarding trip details on February 24, at 2:00 p.m., in room 177. View previous trips by clicking here.
 
Lost But Found Please check the abundance of items (coats, Bibles, travel mugs, etc) at the Lost & Found located in the back corner of the lower level foyer. Items not retrieved will be donated to a local charity.
 
 
JOY Fellowship: Taco Tuesday All senior adults are invited to a JOY (Just Older Youth) Taco Tuesday fellowship, Tuesday, March 5, at 11:30 am. Visit the info booth today to RSVP and sign up to bring sides, taco dips, or desserts.
 
 
Share Your Faith Workshop (SYFW) On Saturday, February 23, SYFW will be offered 9 am – 4 pm. This one-day training will give you the basic tools you need to witness including, Overcoming the Fear of Witnessing, Telling Your Story, Finding People Who Are Open, as well as a tool to assist you in sharing the Gospel. The cost of $15 includes materials and lunch.
 
 
Gatekeeper Ministry The Gatekeeper Ministry will be hosting an information and recruitment booth in the foyer on February 24. If you have considered joining Gatekeepers or would like to know more about the ministry, stop by and see us! There are places of service for most adult church members.
 
Custom Built Boys Lock-In The Lock-In is March 1-2, here at VGBC! Don’t miss out on this Night of Adventure (out in the woods—yet, indoors!) for boys 2nd – 6th grade. Come for dinner and a night of games, snacks, time in God’s Word, a movie, and maybe a little sleep. The adventure begins Friday at 5 pm and we will break camp Saturday at 10 am. Everyday Evangelism Training (EV2) This eight-week training course begins Sunday, March 3, from 4:30 – 5:45 pm. Extra time will be spent on each part of the gospel presentation covered at the SYFW. There will be opportunities to witness with experienced trainers at Tuesday night visitation. SYFW is helpful, but not required. The deadline to register for childcare is Feb. 17.
