The following deacons are available for you to contact with any ministry needs:

Mike Arnett & Tom Floring: (719-598-2139)

Alive & Ten31 Home Concert Don’t miss “But God” performed by Alive & Ten31 (the high school choir and drama team) on Sunday, June 2, at 6:00 pm.
VBS Training Meetings All Vacation Bible School helpers are encouraged to attend a training meeting. If you were unable to attend the first one, please join us Wednesday, June 5, from 6-8 pm in the youth wing.
VBS Volunteer Help Additional help is needed for this year’s VBS. We need leaders to escort classes to their various rotations (missions, crafts, recreation, Bible, music). No teaching or preparation is needed—just a willingness to serve. To volunteer, stop by the info booth today or sign up at vgbc.org/vbs.
Benevolence Offering Next Sunday, following the worship services, a benevolence offering will be collected by the deacons to help individuals in need. Please pray about your gift.
Valet Service Volunteers Needed The Valet Ministry is in need of additional drivers, one Sunday a month, before, between, and after morning services. If you are looking for an easy area to serve in, this is it! This service allows those with certain needs to avoid any mishaps in the parking lot. If interested, contact Paul Brandenstein at 439-2449, or Trevor Boese at 452-9104.
The 32nd Annual Walk for Life Join hundreds of others THIS Saturday, June 1, at Memorial Park to support the life-saving work of Life Network and the Colorado Springs Pregnancy Center. Every $150 you raise will provide free support services for 3 clients and their babies. Pick up a pledge sheet at the info booth or visit
Special Thank You The Southeast Baptist Food Pantry team sends a big thank you for your generous donations of grocery items. “We are so happy to see the food cabinet at VGBC fill up so regularly!” Matthew 25:35, “For I was hungry, and you fed me.”
Summer Evening Concert Don’t miss a night of music for all ages! VGBC presents the Burchfield Brothers with Lori Jean Smith on Sunday, June 16, at 6:00 pm. The Burchfield Brothers are a Dove-nominated duo who combine music & storytelling. Lori Jean Smith is a world-class violinist; her motto is “artistry with passion.” Their combination of styles will ensure an excellent evening of worship.
Missionary Need Our missionaries, Mark & Lona Webb, from Killarney, Ireland, will be in Colorado Springs, July 17 – August 12. They would like to borrow a vehicle during this time. If you are able to help, please contact Mark at mark.webb@crossworld.org.
