DEACONS OF THE WEEK
The following deacons are available for you to contact with any ministry needs:

Mike Coover & Bryan Kitchenka: (719-598-2139)

Town Hall Meeting Rescheduled The Town Hall Meeting has been scheduled for tonight at 6:00. Please join us for this 2019 budget discussion.

Deacon Nominations for 2019 Each year the Deacon Nominating Committee asks our church body to provide recommendations for selecting deacon candidates to serve VGBC. This is the first and most vital step in the deacon selection process. Please take time to prayerfully consider men in our church you would like to nominate to serve our Lord at VGBC. Forms are available at the brochure rack. The last day to turn in nominations is Jan. 6.

Christmas Cookie Bakers Needed We need volunteers to bake cookies for the Christmas Dessert Theater to be held December 13-16.  Click to Sign up!  Cookies need to be delivered by Thursday, December 13.

Sunday Service Web Streaming Videos of the 10:45 am Sunday service are available weekly on the sermons page. The camera will mainly capture the stage area excluding baptisms and the invitation time.  Please be mindful that those sitting in the front middle section could be in view at times.

Short-Session Business Meeting A short-session business meeting will be held following this evening’s Town Hall Meeting for the purpose of considering nominations from the Nominating Committee.

Business Meeting A Business Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, December 2, at 6 pm. Church members will vote on the 2019 budget.

Angel Tree You can give joy to a prisoner’s child this Christmas through Angel Tree! This program reconciles families by giving prisoners a chance to provide Christmas presents for their children with local churches as the go-between. VGBC has been assigned over 60 children who all live in this surrounding area. We need volunteers to buy and wrap, sort, and deliver gifts. Visit the info booth today to choose one or more children to purchase gifts for or to volunteer. Questions? Contact Emily Knuckles at 235-6946.

Lottie Moon The flags displayed in the sanctuary represent countries where VGBC missionaries have served and some of the countries where the International Mission Board is currently serving today. Please be praying about your participation in the 2018 Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. Vista Grande’s goal is $105,000.
