Angel Tree

Angel Tree, a ministry of Prison Fellowship, works through local churches every Christmas season to provide gifts for children with incarcerated parents.  You will have the opportunity to “adopt” an angel at the end of November/beginning of December, but we also need “behind-the-scenes” people now!  To find out how you can help, contact Anna Valentine at 598-0273.

Alive & Ten31 Trip Fundraiser

Alive and Ten31 are headed to Ireland!  Help support them by purchasing a King Soopers reloadable gift card for $10.  Every dollar reloaded on the card earns 5% back.  Drop by the church office during the week to pick up your card!

Fall Festival Help Still Needed

You can help us prepare for the

annual Fall Festival!  Help is needed in all

areas, including running games, serving food, donating sealed bags of candy (labeled drop-off chest located in the foyer), making baked goodies for the cake walk, and set-up and tear down.  Visit the info booth today!

OCC Shoeboxes

“Every shoebox is an opportunity for the Lord Jesus Christ to wrap His arms around a child.”

-Franklin Graham, President of Samaritan’s Purse

.  Christmas is about sharing the gift of God’s Son, Jesus Christ!  Help spread joy and peace to hurting children by filling shoeboxes with toys and other gifts.  Collection Week is November 13-20.   Shoeboxes are located at the Greeter’s Desk; pick one (or more) up today!

Sunday Morning Fellowship Help

The Sunday morning early-shift team needs a third member to help prepare for the Coffee/Donut Fellowship.  If interested, please call Gwen at the church office.

Christmas Dessert Theater Video

We need extras (people) for a Christmas Dessert Theater (CDT) video.  We would like to fill up a small country church for a Christmas Eve service video that we will use in the CDT presentation.  We are filming on Tuesday evening, October 24. We plan to leave VGBC for Hanover Community Church at 5:00 pm.  Families are needed.  If you would like to be a part of this, please contact Jay at jay.hill@vgbc.org or at the church office.

Christmas Dessert Theater Prep

We are in need of the following help for the CDT:

Videographersomeone with experience in film/video to help us improve VGBC produced video segments; video lighting experience would be especially helpful.  Stage Design

– an individual with set design/construction experience, especially scrim usage.
