   Ride to Concert

We are taking the church bus to the Chris Tomlin concert at Red Rocks on Tuesday, September 5.  If you have tickets and would like to ride on the bus with us, please call the church office for more info.

Men’s Ministry Breakfast

Breakfast resumes Saturday, September 9.  Coffee & fellowship begin at 7 am, breakfast at 7:30 am.  We will study “Gospel in Life:  Grace Changes Everything” by Timothy Keller.  All men & boys are invited to attend.  Please make reservations on the church website.

   MOPS Workers Needed

The Mothers of Preschoolers group is looking for additional workers for the 2017-18 season.  These paid positions only require two Thursday mornings per month.  If you are interested, contact Mary Rogers at maryforechrist@outlook.com.

   Colorado Missions Offering

We will begin collecting for the Nicy Murphy offering next Sunday, September 10.

   Ladies Bible Study

Join us for a study on “The Gospel of Mark:  The Jesus We’re Aching For” by Lisa Harper.  Follow Jesus through His days of early ministry all the way to the cross.  It’s there we discover what it means to be the recipients of His excessive compassion and the very reason for His all-consuming passion.    Both a morning and evening study is available.  It starts Tuesday, September 12, 9-11 am in the Youth Wing and Wednesday, September 13, 6:30-8:00 pm, in room 177.       The cost is $13 for the book.  Questions? Contact Carol at ckurkowski@aol.com.

   AWANA Media Tech Needed

AWANA is in need of a volunteer media person on Wednesday nights to run the video for the opening ceremonies, be the official photographer, and help with social media connections.  If interested, contact Leah Gingery at leah.hornok@gmail.com.

   Men’s Fall Retreat

There is still time to sign up for the Men’s Retreat (September 22-24)!  Young men 16 and older are also invited to attend.  What a great opportunity to spend time with the Lord, other men, and enjoy outdoor activities.  The cost is $120/person. Visit the info booth today!

   Employment Opportunity

VGBC is seeking applicants for a part-time custodian.  Applications are available in the church office.

   Music Ministry Needs

We have needs in the following areas:   Sound Operator – an individual willing to learn our system and be committed to it as their primary area of ministry; Sunday instrumentalists and orchestra members – if you play, let us know.  Please contact Jay at jay.hill@vgbc.org or at the church office (598-2139) about your interests and gifts in these areas.
