Robbyn Booker

Serving in: Spain
Reach Beyond

Robbyn’s parents, Leonard and Imogene Booker, worked with HCJB (now Reach Beyond) for 30 years. Robbyn was raised in Quito, Ecuador and was very involved in the short-wave radio ministry, as well as helping the local church. Missions has always been something close to her heart, but as a single mom, Robbyn spent most of her adult life managing retail banking branches and trust offices. In 2005, she returned to Ecuador on a vision trip, followed by a short-term trip to Ukraine. Both trips “lit a flame” in Robbyn as she began seeking the Lord for a new missions opportunity, and two and half years later, Robbyn returned to Quito for six months on a short-term basis, then went to serve in Spain for two years working at a missionary children’s school.

Now, Robbyn is a missionary appointee with Reach Beyond for long term service, and is currently in the process of support-raising. She hopes to be on the field by early 2017 and plans to assist the North Africa Middle East regional director with the work in that region.  She has the necessary financial and administrative skills and a mastery of the language that uniquely gifts her for this work.  Robbyn is eager to be on the field serving the Lord through this ministry of proclaiming the voice of Jesus and looking forward to what the Lord has waiting for her.
