We look at one of the most familiar and loved stories of the Bible, David verses Goliath. Sometimes our familiarity with a story can prevent us from hearing the real meaning of the story. We discover this chapter has the same theme as 1 Samuel 16: “the Lord sees not as man sees.” We are reminded that we must rethink how we view our situation, others, ourselves, and power.
