We learn from John 6 that we need to go to Jesus with the right motivations and stay there. We discover from the text a couple of unhealthy motivations for going to Jesus. Like the crowd, we often follow Jesus merely because of what He can do for us. We also learn healthy motivations for going to Jesus. Jesus doesn’t merely give us what we need to be satisfied; He is the bread of life and He satisfies.
