Children’s Choir Kickoff

Travel the world at the Children’s Choir Kick-off Party! Join us Sunday, August 21,

from 4:30 – 5:45 pm for games, food, and fun! Learn about this year’s theme “God Loves the World” and meet your teachers.

Children’s Choir Volunteers

Looking for a place to serve musically? Consider being a helper or  teacher in the Children’s Choir this school year. The commitment is just 2 hours every Sunday afternoon. If interested, contact Stephanie Benton or Christi Lynn.

 

AWANA Registration

Registration is now open for the 2022-23 season by clicking here. Awana begins Wednesday, August 24. Doors open at 6 pm for check-in and the opening ceremony begins at 6:15.

Men’s Bible Study Resumes

We start meeting again each Thursday beginning Aug. 4 at 9 am in room 154. Bill Holbrook will lead a study in the book of Colossians.

 

Mentor Moms for Mothers of Preschoolers

We are looking for mentors for MOPS. Meetings begin Sept. 15 from 9 – 12 noon. If you are a VGBC church member, have experience as a mother, and enjoy encouraging young mamas, please contact Sandi Dick through the church office.

 

Worship Concert Featuring the Men’s Octet

Join us for a Sunday Night Worship Concert with the King’s Messengers on August 14 at 6:00 pm.
 
 

VKP Part-time Position

Vista Kids Preschool has an opening for a part-time aide beginning August 24. The hours required are Tuesday and Thursday, 8 am – noon. Candidates must be 18 or older and have some experience working with children. For more info, contact Julie Shade.
