Special Thank You Thank you to all our church members who made donations for the Missions Rummage Sale. The Lord blessed and we made over $2,700 to be used to purchase building materials for houses in Juarez, Mexico. A small portion will also go towards Brazil. Special thanks to all of you who came out to help sort items and work the sale on Friday & Saturday. It could not have happened without each of you giving of your time and talents! Thank you also for helping make my Eagle Project a success: I learned a lot. J.D. Arredondo Mexico Donations Needed The Mexico Mission Team is in need of the following items for their trip: interior & exterior paint, paint brushes, brooms & dustpans, hand towels & wash cloths, toiletries, kitchen utensils, small area rugs, blankets, sheets, basic tools and curtain rods. A drop-off box is located in the foyer.
Uganda Mission Trip, January 2010 They left on Monday, January 4 and returned home safely on Sunday, January 17. Thank you for praying for their safety, good health and effective ministry! Follow the link to learn more about the trip.
Acacia Park Ministry to the Homeless The Youth Department provides 120 sack lunch meals to the homeless people of Acacia Park, usually on the second Saturday of each month. You can help by picking up staples during your regular grocery shopping, donating cash to purchase food, or participating in the distribution.	Praying for East Asia Would you like to learn more about the people and countries of East Asia and how you can pray effectively for them? Did you know that your Lottie Moon Christmas offerings provide support for these missionaries and others around the world?
Vista Grande has a heart for Missions, both in service and giving. Our gifts support the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board, along with members of our church who are involved in a variety of hands on projects. From the gifts we receive, we give to local missions, to associational missions and to the Coperative Program for a total missions giving of 11% of our annual receipts. Our church gave the following special offerings in 2008: $46,529.80 to Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for international missions $17,247.49 to Annie Armstrong Easter Offering for home (North American) missions $ 3,313.19 to Nicy Murphy annual offering for state missions		The Cooperative Program When we send a portion of our offerings to the Cooperative Program, where does that money go?
Ministry opportunities in Croatia The Croatia Mission trip was held June 12-27, 2009. They taught English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, visited orphanages and ministered through sports evangelism and coffee shop concerts.	Building churches in Brazil The 2010 Brazil mission trip is planned for June 5 - 12. Their first planning meeting will be held on November 8 at 4:00 pm.
Mexico Mission Trip Our group of 64 youth and adults built three homes for people in Mexico with Casas Por Cristo in March, 2009. Learn more about the ministry, and how you can participate when they return in March, 2010.

Hill-N-Park Mission Center - Greeley, CO Chris and Colene grew up as members of VGBC. Through their food and clothing ministry in northern Colorado, they reach 500 families a month with the love of Christ.
