Making Disciples who Connect
By: Dr. Chris Moore
Series: 2016 Mission Statement
The message of the gospel is that we are not right with God but we can be because of what Christ has done at the cross. While the gospel is about being right with God, the gospel is also about the peace Jesus has established among God’s people. An important part of growing as a disciple of Christ is to grow together with God’s people. We discover from this text why we should value one another and why we should be connected with one another in the church.

We discover that the conflict is between the Creator and His rebellious creation. God’s response and His plan for the rebellion is to establish His king and bring everything under subjection to this king. We are told to “Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish” (Psalm 2:12).
