Praise psalms usually follow a consistent pattern. Psalm 95 breaks the pattern and concludes with an abrupt warning instead. We need to hear and respond to this warning. God provides the rest that we all long for and need, but we must not presume on God’s grace. We discover how to experience God’s rest and we are challenged to pursue his rest with a sense of urgency.
