Stewardship and Cooperation

Mark 10:17-27
In this sermon, we focus on what we believe about stewardship.  We discover basic principles such as everything is owned by God.  And we are responsible for stewarding what God has loaned us.  We also learn that we should love God more than money and our giving reflects what we value.  We see the ultimate motivation for why we should be good stewards and give sacrificially.

    The Family

In this Father’s Day sermon, we focus on the family.  What the Bible teaches about the family is probably under attack right now more than anything else we believe.  We talk about ways the culture is opposed to God’s good design for the family.  We discover what biblical family, marriage, and parenting look like and why we should be motivated to be the best husband, wife, father, mother, son, or daughter.

    The Kingdom and Last Things
    1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
In this sermon, we discover what we believe about the Kingdom of God and the end times.  We learn two extremes we should avoid.  One extreme is claiming to know more about the future than the Bible clearly reveals.  The other extreme is ignoring what the Bible clearly teaches.  We emphasize what the Bible emphasizes in order to be encouraged and motivated by Christ’s second coming.
