Three “houses” in 3 days?! What?! Well, The Father did it! Using 50 or so, fairly unskilled but willing volunteers ranging in ages from 10 to 68, He did it!  

This year, we had all three houses within a stone’s throw of each other! The fellowship between the volunteers and the families was truly a blessing from our Lord. We were able to mingle with them as they pitched in to help build their future homes. AND… they were so very generous by feeding us every day – they whole crew! THIs must have cost them a full week’s wage! Simply amazing!

The high water mark for me was when Larry and myself had the opportunity to share Jesus’ love through a personal witness! 

During the VBS that happened our last day, we had at least twenty neighborhood children come to a Vacation Bible School some of our ladies held. So, naturally, the parents all gathered in the shade to watch their children having fun and learning about Jesus.  

Seeing the parents enjoying the festivities, Larry and I invited a local pastor to interpret for us, and together, we tag-teamed a Gospel presentation, and shared Jesus’ love and His Gospel of salvation through faith with them. 

7 adults all made professions of faith with us. I am not saying they were saved. Perhaps some were. Our job is to “go.” The Lord takes care of the rest!! He is forever faithful!
